SHAPE recruits new schools each spring and summer to start SHAPE Clubs in the upcoming school year. If you are interested in starting a SHAPE Club at your school, please contact Nancy Platt at 954-370-7130 ext. 302 or via email at nplatt@shapestudents.org.

To start a SHAPE Club, each school simply needs to:

• Recruit a teacher to serve as an Advisor for the school year who will begin by recruiting a student to be President
• Have available space for meetings during after school hours
• Provide support to the club at the administrative level

SHAPE provides each club with:

• $2,000 to be granted to nonprofit agencies
• $350 for a club budget & $250 incentive fundraising bonus
• Ongoing administrative support and guidance
• Trainings and program materials including student and advisor workbooks, incentives, etc.
