TRAINING FUTURE PHILANTHROPIC LEADERS
SHAPE is engaging high school students in philanthropy.  By bringing young people, with a desire to do good to the table of philanthropic institutions, new ideas are introduced and youth perspectives and creativity begin to permeate foundation decision making.  It is our hope that all the bright minds that have passed and will pass through our program leave with a sense of purpose and a desire to include philanthropy as part of their professional and personal lives.

Our curriculum teaches students how to read and write grants, how to research and find local non-profits and how to interface with their student body in order to write a mission statement and create a vision for their work.
Participation in SHAPE builds competency in fundraising and development; two indispensable skills in the for-profit and non-profit worlds.
Our curriculum translates into substantive and significant work experience toward collegiate goals and professional credentials.
Students who complete the program hone their leadership skills in writing, public speaking, researching and presenting ideas, problem solving, consensus building, evaluations and decision making.

Our global community faces some serious challenges and we must train a new generation and give them the tools to begin alleviating the world’s major underlying problems.

Please join us in educating and preparing wave after wave of young leaders and philanthropists through SHAPE.
